Puzzles are interactive board challenges for Chess and Connect 4. Each puzzle starts from a curated position - your goal is to find the winning sequence by playing the board directly. Win within the target move count to succeed; if you don't, simply reset and try again.

Challenge yourself daily with a fresh puzzle, see how you stack up against other players, and track your progress on the leaderboard.

How to start

Select the puzzle of the day or pick any other puzzle from the board. Use the game type buttons to filter by Chess or Connect 4, or open Filters to narrow by difficulty, win count, or solve status.

How to play

Open a puzzle and play as the hero color.
Make your moves directly on the board to find the winning sequence.
Win within the target move count to solve the puzzle.
Didn't make it? Use the reset button to return to the starting position and try again - as many times as you like.

Daily puzzle - refreshes every day and is available to registered users. Create a free account to unlock today's challenge.

All other puzzles - open to everyone, no sign-in required. Pick any puzzle and start playing right away.

Daily puzzle - 4 pts on try 1, 2 pts on try 2, 1 pt on try 3.
Regular puzzles - 1 point when solved within 3 tries.
Replaying a solved puzzle is allowed but won't award extra points.
